If M$ were to ever inject this little monster into its O/S or applications I
would feel compelled to take control of MY Personal Computers by moving
everything I could to a Linux environment. Any Windows based machines would
be used solely for developing applications my clients would want to run on
their M$ platforms. But, M$ could kiss my ass goodbye as a licensor of any
M$ applications wherever I had a viable alternative - and Linux desktop
(much less Server) is plenty viable. Heck, I could even wind up in Mac
territory. I would like to think M$ would not bring this embedded ad
engine/framework into its O/S and End User applications due to consumer
concerns re: privacy and freedom to choose where they want to seek products
and services. Then again, this has become a land of lemmings in a few areas
too many.
