Hi Michael! You aren't paying attention. Everyone I know is worse off than their parents were. People around here are working two and three jobs and not making half a living. Going deeper and deeper in debt, eating and buying basic clothing on the equity in their home. If there are two kids it is even worse. The clunkers that your daddy used to drive nowadays cost more than new cars. You pay about 30% interest to finance them, have to carry full coverage insurance on them and when they break down every week you have to pay $300 or more every time. I used to get away with junkers myself, 25 years ago. Now my old car costs me more than my "new" (under 100,000 miles) car. That said, they are both expensive, and neither is paid for. Have to have two as a back-up against breakdowns on work nights. -- Regards, Pete http://www.pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
