I think this may be the biggest sticking point. The people who work here can barely use the system we have now, which has the ability to acquire scanned images right from the fax client. Making them use two different systems--one to scan and doctor text images, and one to manage fax traffic--simply will not be possible. Why is it that virtually nobody thinks--"Hey, I'll make a computer fax system! What's a fax machine? It's a machine that scans documents and sends them over the phone. Therefore, when I create a fax system I should include the ability to scan documents." WinFax thought this. Zetafax thought this. What's wrong with everybody else?
