Want to contribute to Dabo, but don't feel you understand the inner workings of the code that well? Do you speak a language other than English well enough to translate some of the localizable strings from English to your language? Well, we need you to help localize Dabo for as many languages as possible. We're using the translation service provided by Launchpad, which is an online product from Canonical, the same folks who bring you Ubuntu Linux. I've set up these languages as our main targets: Brazilian Portuguese Chinese (Hong Kong) Czech Dutch English (United Kingdom) French German Italian Japanese Portuguese Russian Spanish Of course, if you want to localize a different language, let me know and I can set it up. To start translating, go to: https://translations.launchpad.net/dabo/trunk/ Click on your language, and you'll get a web page where you can start entering your translations. One of the cool things about Launchpad is since they translate so many projects, if another project has translated the same string to the same language, it will provide suggestions for you, making things go even faster. Let me know your experiences with Launchpad. It's a new service, but so far I've been very impressed with it! -- Ed Leafe -- http://leafe.com -- http://dabodev.com [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED]@shelbynet.com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
