Under uk law it is the responsibility of a vendor, no matter what they say,
to provide equipment that does the job its advertised to do. So even
internet sellers are obliged to attend to problems like this. In this case
it was acer's own web site I purchased it from. As you know there are not
many laptop dealers where I lived at the time :)
