Hi Bill! Finding the suction device locally priced beyond the "bankrupt retiree" budget, I slightly modified the recipe, using the $15 George Foreman Grill. I grilled 6 strips of bacon for 10 minutes, poured the drippings over the eggplant "steak", encouraging penetration, which turned out to be very complete, with a few fork punctures, put the "steak" on the grill and put the bacon on top, giving all of it about 5 minutes beyond the first 10. Very tasty. I skipped the garlic, didn't have any on hand, it would have been nice, though. -- Regards, Pete http://www.pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
