Yup, that's the kind of thing. (Where's that view editor come from? I remember seeing it before but have lost track of it now.) I think my concern comes from the level I'd have to do this at. I'd be practically making public variables to hold the thing together, because the user will want to set up some filters (this year, those traders, these markets), and then a large number of views will need to have those types of parameterised clauses. I'm hoping not to have to do this to so many views, but I can't currently think of another feasible way.
