Hi Michael! I have picked a LOT of vegetables, planted them, cultivated them, fertilized them and sold them. Farming as such is not only a good job, it may be the best job there is. What is wrong with it now is not the workers, but the bosses. My grandfather owned the farm, and my father ran it. My father paid his help good wages and treated everyone with great kindness and respect. He never missed a wedding, a baptism or a funeral. If anyone was sick he visited them every day until they were better. It wasn't an issue in those days, but if he would have had foreign help I am very sure he would have sponsored them for citizenship. -- Regards, Pete http://www.pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
