My brother in law uses FORTRAN.  He programs electron microscopes and
designs polymers as a scientist.  The TIOBE list has FORTRAN as #21 and
since TIOBE is based on hits on the Internet as well as the assumption that
FORTRAN people know FORTRAN as well as we know FoxPro that seems like it is
a language that a lot of people are using.
