I might have ya beat there... Freshman year, early evening at the Oregon State University Computer Center... cute young thing from my CS class is walking down the hall towards me with a box of cards that were her program she'd just diligently typed in for lord-only-knows how many hours... This was my chance to score some points, so just as she passed me I said "Hi!", but in my youthful exhuberance it came out as "HI!!!!!" and I scared the crap out of her, the box goes flying, and as it turns out - no rubber bands....
