I didn't quote your whole piece because of the length, but I would only warn 
you against confusing some of these people with facts.  They won't understand 
and will dig in even deeper to the non-understanding of the general populace.  
It was well thought out, but they won't get it.

I would conclude with the old saying:  if you lay all the economists in the 
world end to end... they still wouldn't reach a conclusion.
