Subject: Change in luck ?

Hi all

I just wanted to share with you what I hope will turn out to be a change

in my luck (for the better !).

Having spent 27 years in Kenya and having relocated to the UK two years
ago I have been struggling to find employment. In that time I have done

some (actually, rather little) consulting work for Steadman & Associates

(my former employer in Kenya) and for Bradford City Council. Having
been successfully interviewed at Pegasus last year (and told that an
offer was to be made), they were taken over and the deal fell through,
which was a tremendous disappointment.

Today I received a provisional offer of employment, subject to providing

satisfactory references and for a probationary period of six weeks.

I am "over the moon" and can hardly wait to start ...

Thanks to you all for helping me to keep my sanity over the last two
years - and for all the help that I have received since I joined this
unique community. Special thanks to Ed (for Profox), to Dave Crozier
(he knows why !) and to Rob Anderson (he possibly doesn't know why !)

Paul Newton
