B) is what I mean. Under 4.02 and prior, Knoppix will magiliciously discover and set up the router, internet settings, etc, and as soon as I fired up the browser, off I go. Ditto for e-mail, gaim, etc, etc. Now when I start up, none of them can connect to the internet. I'm sure I can go into setup and get internet to work, but I've been too busy throwing a hissy fit and whining to mess with it. Plus, it'a a PITA when you're using a live CD, as your settings disappear every time you reboot.
