Well it hurts the third world which is prevented from developing. It causes food prices to go through the roof because ethanol producers are buying up corn that would ordinarily go to animal and human feed.
They made the same argument with DDT and millions of Africans died of malaria as a result. Finally, slime bags like Al Gore are making BILLIONS of dollars on phony science. Why not tell the truth? Why not say CO2 *MAY* be causing global warming? Why not use the economic advantage argument for wind and solar energy?
