Ken: I just set up a Vista machine just in case I need to test an app on it. First, I installed Vista. Then I installed XP (my main development OS) in Virtual PC. Then I installed Ubuntu in a second partition. To do this, I shrunk the one partition enough to make room for Ubuntu. Ubuntu installed in the unallocated space with no problem at all in less than half an hour. When I boot the machine it boots into an Ubuntu menu that gives you the option to load Vista, otherwise it boots into Ubuntu. I am very happy with this setup.
