Don't know about numbers, but linux desktop has had amazing
improvements. I prefer it to Ws. BTW I use Ws at work, at home have a
dual boot (Ws/Knoppix(Debian)). If I could use Ws apps in a Linux box
(as the author suggests will happen) then I'd go Linux all the way (not
talking about VM's just use an app IN the system).
Though the attitude of Lx people (I mean if forums and stuff) is still
annoying at times things are improving a lot and though there are still
some 'glitches' the desktop is coming to a point where Joe Hill
(remember him?) will be able to use it.
