Hi Folk Re Christof's Guineu I have a client who needed a very simple data entry screen for stock taking purposes. His "device" is a PDA with barcode reader built in. Christoff's example program, with very little modification, is all I needed to make it work exactly as per client requirements. Once I got my head around installing the MSI on the PDA, it was so simple I could barely believe it. I loaded the foxpro app on a 512 flashcard. The data generated is stored on this card so that data exchange is real simple. This could also easily be done by any number of other means, including Terminal Server, and Email attachments.
I know Guineu is Beta, but I think it's only when you start pushing some of the functionality that this could become a problem. I think/hope it is going to give me lots of other opportunities, and from what I've seen so far, I'll be the 1st to PAY for the released product.
