Thanks, Jeff, but you're right: that's exactly where this thread
started. Attempting to uninstall Norton means that ALL Symantec
products have to be uninstalled and reinstalled. The odds of success
in getting these products to successfully uninstall and reinstall on a
six-year-old machine do not make me comfortable, even if I can come up
with all of the original disks, keys, etc.
