I've had very poor luck exporting from Outlook without it corrupting
somewhere along the line. I recently had to get my employers' email and
address book from MSN Explorer ( MS's mind-numbingly bad, ultra dumbed-down
version of AOL ) to Outlook 2007 and it was a complete and total
clustery-nightmare. Be sure to use the 'map custom fields' option when
exporting and line them up with what TB is expecting so as to minimize the
pain.

Okay, so I guess one detail I left out was that yes, you are supposed to be
able to do the Import CSV thing, but when I tried to export it out my
Outlook installation wanted my Office CD and frankly, I don't have a clue
where it is and last night I was too lazy to go try and dig it up...

Since I'm not in the habit of exporting from Outlook, and I doubt many
others are either, I wonder how many people have those Export pieces
installed?

Ahhhh... but that gives me an idea! Since I know a thing or two about
Outlook automation I bet I could just create my own CSV file and bypass
Outlook's requirement for the CD...

Too bad the hard drive in that machine is making such a huge racket - I
wonder if I'll have time before it completely fails... <g>
