>It was her anti-war, and hence anti-Bush comments that got her cut off.
What a crock! She was among people who agreed with her. While I don't like censorship... it smacks of Big Brother... where do these people who make a living pretending to be something they are not get the idea that they can impose their politics on people who are just wanting to be entertained... and paying them well to do it. In my humble but accurate, it would seem that the screen writers who put words in the mouth of characters could listen to some real people for a while. People who talk like the anti-heroes we see today don't get very far in life... corporate or otherwise. If someone uses the f-word twice in every sentence, I see them as inarticulate and incapable of intelligent coversation... and they are flushed. This spills over into the conversation these people have off script. It isn't cool, it's stupid. I know that's not what she said... but... you get the idea. And this is coming from someone who loves Gidget, The Flying Nun, Frog and M'lynn. Of course she has a right to her opinion, but that is not what she is there for. Give us a break... you are paid to look pretty and make us believe you are something you are not... do not preach at us! Would this keep me from seeing another Sally Field movie... no. Like I said, I love Gidget, The Flying Nun, Frog and M'lynn... but I'm not sure I would use Boniva. ;-) Larry Miller --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
