Hi Peter! When I switched my daily use machines to linux I was doing the antivirus upgrades every day and the antispyware every few hours. It got to where all I was doing was closing doors and windows, and not doing anything I wanted to do. I remember thinking that I needed more horsepower to run all that! This was Win 98 and early XP. Nowadays my windows partitions never see the light of day, completely isolated from the web. Stuff still gets to them somehow. -- Regards, Pete http://www.pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
