It is a question, and most polls show that most people don't care what they think and aren't influenced by them one bit. If Hollywood had that big an impact on elections, the Democrats would win every one.
Additionally, most of these Hollywood types come to Hollywood to get away from a terrible family life, to run away from their problems, to fix their life with fame. Many have never graduated college, some have not graduated high school, some have been the victim of sexual abuse, etc. Owen Wilson is a great example of just how messed up Hollywood people are. So why should anyone listen?
