In XP, this can be done from the Computer Management control panel
({quot}Manage{quot} on the right-click menu of the {quot}My
Computer{quot} icon.
Select {quot}Disk Management{quot} under the {quot}Storage{quot}
branch, right click on
the thumb drive, and select {quot}Change drive letter and
paths...{quot}
