Hi everyone,
We use an app that stores data into dBase IV files (DBF, MDX, and DBT). Many times I update the DBF files through VFP. However, the MDX and DBT files I can't. I normally go into the app and run the reindex process. This reindex process can only be run when there is no one using the APP. Any ideas as to how to update index files (MDX) and/or memo files (DBT) files out side of the APP? I am looking for ActiveX or copy of dBase IV or anything that will let me rebuild index files (MDX). It would be icing on the cake if I could do all this through VFP. Any help would greatly appreciate. Thanks as always.
