Pre-VFP9, when you wanted shaded boxes in a report, you had to create a similar object and use the PrintWhen to toggle back/forth the controls you wanted to show/hide. Bo Durban showed something cool in the VFP9 RW at FF2K7, but I can't recall where it was that achieved this same kind of thing MUCH EASIER than the old "copy the objects and put code in every object's PrintWhen condition."
Pointers? VFP Help gives me the impression to use the Run OnEntry/OnExit via the Detail Band Properties box but I don't think it's there that Bo showed us to do this. I create multiple details bands but that just seems to do the same thing (read: no less work) than creating duplicate objects overlaying each other with PrintWhen conditions. I also tried this link from Bo's session notes but it appears dead: http://moxiedata.com/presentations/CustomReportControlsWithSedna.zip tia! --Michael _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
