Nobody understands quantum mechanics, so don't feel lost if this really sound weird.
Two sub-atomic quantum particles can be entangled, where the action by one of the quantum particles instantly causes a reaction by the other quantum particle, regardless of distances across space and time. For example, two quantum particle could by entangle at opposite end of a galaxy (e.g. 600 million light years apart), and the action from one of the quantum particles would instantly trigger a reaction in the other. The entanglement of the two quantum particles could allow real communication between people at speeds much, much faster than the speed of light. What is really weird is before the two entangled particles can know their states, a human observer must be focused or conscience of one of the quantum particles, as if some kind of energy emitted from the brain is used to make a connection by the observer which energize or excite the two entangle particles. When the quantum particles are not being observed, they exist in all states at the same time with no apparent direction.
