Dave Sorry I have not worked with datasessions before (excuse for ignorance) so:
The code I am modifying is a method of an existing form which has a DataSession property of 2 (Private). How would I open a new datasession in the middle of the existing method code ? How would I close the new satasession when I am through AND How would I restore the original datasession Paul Dave Crozier wrote: > Paul > The "close database all" operates on the current datasession, so can't you > simply open a new datasession to open the database in, do your bits and > pieces, then close databases all and return back to the original session. > > Obviously if you need data from tables in the first session this will close > problems, but you can always open the original database again in the new > session as well. > > Dave Crozier > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf > Of Paul Newton > Sent: 03 October 2007 12:47 > To: [email protected] > Subject: Erasing a temporary DBC > > Hi > > I am working on modifying an existing piece of code.
