Desmond, If you want thermal labels at high speed then the Zebra Z4M. Not cheap but fast and relaiable, but don't use the built in drivers, use the ones from Seagull.
Simply use as a standard printer from VFP with 4"x3" labels as default. With the 3 of 9 font installed you can virtually forget about the printer.
