Hi Michael! The left wants this done, and indeed, it is a good thing. The left, however, wants the middle class to pay for it - to preserve the left's alliance with the rich left. I wonder, are not most of the rich people left leaning on social issues? I mean, as long as someone else pays for all of it, naturally. I think the rich folks should start giving back - a LOT.
