Michael,
Well I've binned it if only for the lack of the tooltips on headers, which I
use all the time. Other than that, it ran all my existing projects no
problem. However, I don't support any Vista clients and from what Calvin is
saying, amongst others, then obviously the Aero fixes aren't yet complete.

Rather than this being another nail in VFP's coffin - after all you can't do
much more to a dead entity can you <grin>, I'd say its yet another reason
why M$ won't be selling Vista to existing VFP users.

I do hope they get all the compatibility issues sorted out, but I'm not
optimistic. Even though Milind has committed to making VFP Vista compatible,
we will never get it to be 100% as it obviously isn't a priority in M$'s
schedule.

I'll stick with what I've got and am happy with : XP (current patched level)
and VFP SP1 so I guess it might be worthwhile going out and buying up those
surplus XP disks out there if you can find them.

Talk about a company shooting themselves in the foot! Linux and Dabo are
looking even more tempting now and I can't wait to start my first Dabo
project in November.
