If that comforts you about medicals safety, then bless you.  It doesn't do much 
for me.  If you really want to feel good about your next stay at the hospital, 
check you the old George C Scott movie, The Hospital.  There is probably more 
truth there than we would like to believe.

Hospitals are very dangerous places.  There are germs, viruses, etc. floating 
around than in almost any other setting, plus more dangerous drugs that can 
have very negative effects if applied incorrectly.

For myself, I try to avoid them like the plague so I don't get the plague.

It may come down to how comfortable we are as individuals being taken care of.
