        Did anyone ever think that Apple was a sweet, benevolent company? I  
mean, have you never heard of Steve Jobs before? The man is as  
calculating and ruthless as he is brilliant.

        Look at it the other way: if they start getting more "Redmond-like",  
guys like you might give them the same respect you give to Microsoft  
by pouring money continuously to them no matter how crappy their  
products are or how they try to lock you in to where *they* want to  
go today.
