There's a lot of our way of thinking in Dabo, certainly. But let me just assure you that we don't really force you to agree with us. You could certainly define your own bizobj class, for instance, and while that would be much more difficult than subclassing ours, it would be possible. Dabo provides a higher-level wrapper around wxPython, but using Dabo's UI layer doesn't mean you can't descend down into the wxPython level if you find that Dabo doesn't do everything you need. Also, Dabo is all open source so when something seems strange, you can look at our code to figure it out. In a sentence, if you are going to learn Python and wxPython anyway, you may as well start with Dabo. It is more difficult to convert a half-built wxPython app to Dabo than it is to convert a half-built Dabo app to wxPython. -- pkm ~ http://paulmcnett.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
