Anyone using any of the following subscription services (or one that I
missed) that monitor your installed software and/or drivers and alert
you to updates?

- VersionTracker.com (heavily promoted by PC Magazine and a CNet site),
$30/year
- DriverAgent.com (DriverMagic.com), $30/year
- RadarSync.com, $30/year
- DriverGuide.com, free

Most of these services require you to download a component (ActiveX,
browser plug-in, Java VM?) in order to do an initial scan. Naturally I'm
wary about this without having a more confident feel for these services.

Also, while not wanting to judge a book by its cover, none of these
sites look particularly polished.

I looked up 'foxpro' at VersionTracker.com and was disappointed with
their updates, example: vfp 8.0 sp1, vfp 9.0 beta. The most current
release date is
