Tried Ricks suggestion but drivers won't install on XP 64bit edition so
couldn't continue with that idea or any of the others suggesting printing to
postscript file first.

I have adjusted the position of my code to try and get the UseAutoSave to
change in the registry but find that if I stop after changing the registry keys
the first time, then inspect the registry, it shows the changes correctly. If I
then resume everything is OK but if I then run the form with a breakpoint it
shows the PDFCreator prompts again so it must be some delay and the PDFCreator
print line of code must be acting after the second Registry block which changes
the registry back to default.
I am off to bed now so will try putting a breakpoint in just after the pdf
print line tomorrow and see if that works.

Cheers

Peter

Rick's code works for VFP reports. I guess I could tweak it to work for word
docs though.
