        OK, go back over the past century or so, and find one time that the  
USA meddled in the affairs of another country and it didn't come back  
to bite them in the ass. Let's see: start with Cuba, Chile,  
Nicaragua, Afghanistan, Iraq and Vietnam. Feel free to add others.

        Face it, once we got powerful enough to force our will on other  
countries, we've attracted the worst sorts to positions of power who  
have then wielded that power irresponsibly. This isn't a case of a  
single aberrant President; rather, it seems to be a tradition.
