I wouldn't think so.  From the command window I've seen a few cases where there 
might be a delay/pause.  That's after a great deal of activity.  Have you 
considered trying a sys(1104) to see what that does?
 
Flushes are not required so I would definitely take them out to see what 
happens.  
 
What kind of improvement did you think would see,  after optimizing the one 
view?
