Philip,
The pdfp program looks as if it is a wrapper around the reader. The "C"
source is available at. A little work and I guess you could add in print
ranges:

Philip,
Take a look at

http://forum.planetpdf.com/webboard/wbpx.dll/~planetpdfforum/guests

there is a program pdfp (search on that) and you will get details on it. It
uses the Adobe SDK and the DDE Interface to print - I know, you thought DDI
was dead didn't you!

Also the guy who wrote it has his own website so look at
http://www.esnips.com/web/PDFTools (you can also download the latest pdfp
there) and www.Print-Conductor.com where you can download his software Print
Conductor Software which allows you to get at the printer features as well
simply using the command line.

I must admit I can't vouch for the features or if the software will do your
job, but it may well be a good start. I used the "Batch Print" software from
there to print out batches of PDF's and it worked fine but I don't know if
it allows you to print out a page range - it was a couple of years ago now.

At least it will give you a start.

Thanks Allen,
i looked on their site however it seems to have tools for only printing
to a PDF Driver.
I'm looking for an alternate to Reader to print the actual PDF from VFP
(not to a pdf).
Anyone else know of an alternate to API calls to Adobe Reader or how to
get Adobe Reader to work in Automation?

Thanks,
