Thanks for the info, I was googling and found Calvin's info just before I
received your email.

I fixed the problem by using the image.pictureval property instead of the
image.picture property

lcJPG = 'c:\temp\picture.jpg'
Old way:
image.picture = lcJPG

New way:
image.pictureval = filetostr(lcJPG)

Not sure why it works but the pictures are now displaying.

ISTR something about this sort of problem on Calvin Shia's weblog back in
2005 - might be worth checking.
