Yep, he clearly stated he was emotionally moved, but he still qualified
who 'they' were -- I think you are making a illogical stretch of the
imagination here; certainly unusual for you.

        He clearly stated that he was emotionally moved by the movie. It
is  
very easy, especially in an emotional state, to blur the line between  
the people who are actually trying to harm us, and everyone else who  
look sorta like them and follow the same religion. That's largely  
what happened after 9/11: all Muslims were vilified, which made the  
Saddam<=>Osama link so believable to many Americans.
