LOL! Spoken like a true MS-marketer.

I've dropped Open Office Calc in front of an Excel-loving accountant and
left him alone for a few days. When I checked back he said he didn't have
any problems and thought OO would work just fine. Of course, the company is
'standardized' on MS Office, so that's what he's using. At work. About a
week later he called me and said he put OO on all his home computers and
won't pay another cent for MS Office ever again. I wonder how long it'll
take his employer to wise up too.

And ego? Good lord, the biggest ego's out there belong to the MS-heads who
make statements like "... you have to consider what they're used to
now...." or ".... MS has the biggest market share..." Like somehow, MS is
critical to a company's business. How did things get so backwards?
Company's that use software do not exist just to keep MS in business, they
exist for their own profit. MS hurts that just about any way you slice it.
Some companies are waking up to that fact.

YMMV
