I've set up a number of small businesses with domains that use Google
Apps as their mail server and the repository of the documents that
aren't confidential. It works well, provides POP mail services or
forwarding, a globally-available repository for their documents, and
the ability to work offline, too, since you still have
OpenOffice.org-comaptible documents. The Google apps read many older
MS Office formats and render them well. There's also the ability to
publish the documents online, too.

Last month, I wrote a little bit about their slideshow replacement here:

I especially appreciate the ability to present a slideshow without
requiring viewer software or PowerPoint.
