http://www.freecycle.org/group/US/Maryland/Baltimore  is one place to
put a WANTED message for the couch.  Also, check the Salvation Army
stores. Of course, then you have to get some friends to help move it.
My parents tried to give a sofa with a hide-away-bed to the Salvation
Army and they turned it down.  I don't think they wanted to carry it.
