OK... so why do you feel the need to defend this soooooo strongly.  Seems like 
a nerve is being hit.  Would you be so adament if someone taught an alternate 
to currently accepted atomic theory... I think not.  As long as something is at 
the theory level, alternative views should be accepted and welcomed.  But, if 
you think you came from a monkey, those of us who didn't may seem threatening, 
but we really mean you no harm.
