I'd suspect the first form's REFRESH method is being called, which is
getting linked to the grid methods somewhere.

The other thing that might make an 'afterrowcolchange' method fire is that
the record pointer in the original form moved.  You have private
datasessions between the forms, supposedly this won't happen.
