Al, I'm just listening to Ken Levy's interview at: http://www.dotnetrocks.com/default.aspx?showNum=303#download
as pointed out by Rick Schumer earlier this week. This extensibility of Visual Studio is obviously what Craig Boyd is delving into with his latest project. It may well be that this will supercede the need for SP3 or Sedna if it does what Ken "intimates" in the interview - i.e hosting your own language in VSS (VFP .NET???) which can compete against Microsoft's own Languages - and its all legal - even according to the M$ EULA! The interview is well worth listening to even though it is interspersed with a few adverts. I think its all forgotten. After the outcry about sp2 being bad. on the subject of sp2, is anyone using it? Al, I assume there has been nothing since the October 2007 CTP even though they anticipated the full Sedna release in the 3rd quarter 2007. That is unless anyone knows any different.
