In UK we are charged extra to post a large letter, anything above about A5.
If we don't put sufficient postage on a letter we are charged a ?1 ($2)
administration fee in addition to the extra postage to receive the mail and
have to collect it from the sorting office.  I have started sending
unsolicited junk mail back to the sender in an unaddressed A4 envelope with
a note on the junk mail asking to be removed from their mailing list.  I
don't know how successful (or otherwise <g>) it has been but it gives me
great satisfaction!!!!!
