The first "mass storage" device I worked with was a "MegaStor" dual 8" 
floppy about the size of a modern microwave oven with a capacity of 
800KB (near enough to IMB to warrant the name "MegaStor" !).  That was 
on an Apple ][e with a Z80 card running CP/M - PIP was the command I 
seem to remember ...

Imagine how over the moon I was when I got my first PC (actually an 
Apricot F10 - so not really a "PC")  with a HD - all 10MB !
