A while back I asked about scanning software for the Mac; I have an old,
old, old HP scanner ("How old is it, Whil?") that isn't talking nicely
to other boxes around here anymore. Since Steve Jobs is God (sorry,
Eric), I thought this was a good time to finally BUY a piece of software...
Loaded up the demo of VueScan from hamrick.com. Plugged in the scanner.
Ran the app. Scanned some stuff.
Worked great.
The demo puts tiny little $$$ watermarks on your scan. The Std version
is $40. The SuperDuperPro version is $80.
Two thumbs up.
