I'm into Week #3 here at Rackspace, and so far I haven't been
disappointed. It's a really great place to work, and I'm not just
saying that because they gave me a top of the line MacBook Pro laptop
as my development machine. ;-)

Fortune just released their list of the 100 best companies to work
for, and Rackspace came in at #32!

They are still hiring like crazy, and expect to add over 1000 new
hires in 2008, and these aren't just tech jobs: there are plenty of
customer-facing support people needed, too. And while they aren't
hiring VFP talent, they are looking for people with any sort of
relevant web development experience. If you are looking for a job in
either San Antonio, Austin or London, England, I can check the
internal lists for you. I know that Python, Ruby, PHP and Java are all
being used extensively. They are also looking for hardware techs for
their data centers, so if you like playing around with servers...

Oh, and here's a promotional video about Rackspace. I challenge you
to spot the two CxO officers in the video!
